Inside Art Space runs art programs for creative kids and those who love art. Our programs are based on expanding art education in the local community, the development of the self and the teaching of artistic skills.
Inside Art Space term programs are based on the Australian Curriculum - Foundation to Year 2 and Year’s 3 & 4 Bands. Students create, design, represent, communicate and share imagined and conceptual ideas, emotions, observations and experiences.
Our Art Investigations class is based on Foundation to Year 2 - purposeful and creative play. We introduce the elements of art, with an emphasis on shape, line and colour. In our Explore Art program (based on Years 3 & 4) we introduce historical and cultural contexts.
In all of our classes, our students explore the work of artists, and use a variety of materials and techniques to interpret their own ideas, and express their ideas and imagination. We ensure our students have developed an understanding of the elements and principles - the building blocks that make art.
